This is another great addition to the Gucci Brand. It is a particularly great perfume for the high powered sporting types who like to look and feel good. It is not for the faint hearted or those who are not yet sure of their place in the world. The perfume has just arrived on the scene but has quite a bit of potential. The perfume has just landed on the scene so it is understandable that not many people will yet be aware of it. Given the large amounts of launches I am sure that its distinctive flavor will mean that it will stand out amongst the many great perfumes on the market at the moment,

The Brand

Gucci is part of that group of fashion designers that are definitely part of the establishment. They specialize in high end fashion with a tilt towards the modern trends that will supply the main customer base in modern times. The brand can pay homage to even the metro sexual generation X that sets the trends these days. Thus tradition comes together with modernity to create what can accurately be described as a modern classic.

The Fragrance

The overall aroma of the perfume is that of fresh citrus. However the overall fruity effect is completed by grapefruit, cypress, junipers, vetier, patchouli, cardamom and ambrette. For a masculine fragrance this might appear to be over the top but it works very well. Do not be put off by the seemingly feminine ingredients. The final product is definitely masculine.

The Packaging

Now this is what I call stylish packaging. The perfume is simply breathtaking in its light green hue that goes very well with the transparent bottle. The actual packet itself is plain silver which again speaks of sophistication and confidence. This is not a perfume that is waiting for approval by any stretch of imagination. Understatement seems to have worked very well for them on this occasion and I like it.

General Customer Feedback

It seems that the customers were rather skeptical about sports perfumes in general and this one in particular. There were reservations about the fruity nature of the fragrance and whether this would suit male consumers. However those who had tested the perfume were quite pleased with it. Apparently availability at the moment is restricted to Germany although it is expected that the perfume will spread out soon enough. Judging from the customer feedback it will be a well received fragrance.
